Upload and Reorder Images
Upload up to 9 images (JPEG, PNG, WebP). Drag tiles in the preview grid to reorder them. Images are center-cropped to square automatically.

Instagram Profile Redesign
Plan a complete profile overhaul by filling all 9 grid slots before posting. Preview the full aesthetic and ensure visual coherence before committing.
Brand Campaign Reveals
Design a unified 3x3 or 3x1 image split across multiple posts for a dramatic campaign reveal. Each post shows one tile; the full image appears on your profile.
Product Launch Grids
Showcase a product collection in a 3x3 grid where each tile is a different product shot from the same campaign — creating a cohesive catalog-style profile section.
Visual Storytelling
Use the 3x1 format to tell a before/during/after story across three posts, or a 3x2 to create a six-panel visual narrative that reads like a magazine spread.
Plan the Full Grid Before Uploading
Design all tiles as a single cohesive composition before uploading individual images. It's much harder to adjust lighting and color balance across tiles after the fact.
Use a Consistent Color Palette
Grid posts look most impactful when all tiles share the same tones, filters, and brightness levels. Use the Color Palette Extractor to verify palette consistency.
Avoid Placing Faces at Tile Edges
The 2px gap between tiles can bisect faces and subject outlines. Position key subjects within the center two-thirds of each tile.
Add a Text-Free Center Tile for Visual Anchor
In a 3x3 grid, the center tile (position 5) is visually dominant. Leave it text-free with a bold solid color or texture to anchor the entire grid composition.
Preview Before Posting
Download the merged grid PNG and compare it to your current Instagram profile page in a browser or preview app. Verify that new tiles complement existing posts.
Post in Reverse Order
Instagram displays the most recent post first. Post the bottom-right tile first, working right-to-left, bottom-to-top, so the grid assembles correctly in your profile feed.
