Understand what happens when you click "Adapt with AI" — which models are used, what they change, and your monthly usage limits.
When you click "Adapt with AI" in the editor, Postprism sends your base content to the selected AI model along with platform-specific guidelines — tone, character limit, hashtag style, emoji usage, and audience context.
The AI returns an adapted version of your post for each selected platform, plus suggested hashtags. You can accept, edit, or discard each suggestion independently.
Postprism supports four AI providers: xAI Grok (default), Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4, and Google Gemini. You can switch the active model in Settings → AI Preferences.
All models receive the same platform guidelines. The quality and style of the output will vary between models — experiment to find the one that best matches your brand voice.
AI adaptations are counted per request, not per platform. Adapting one post across five platforms uses one adaptation credit.
Solo plan: 150 adaptations per month. Freelancer plan: 500 per month. Agency plan: 2,000 per month.
Your remaining credits are displayed in Settings → Usage. Credits reset on the first of each calendar month.
The AI works on text only. It does not rewrite your media attachments, alter your scheduling time, or change your platform selection. Links and mentions (@handles) are preserved where possible, though very long URLs may be trimmed if they would exceed a platform character limit.
